This delightful post card was mailed on December 31, 1908 to my 2nd great-grandmother Ellen Jane Fowler (1845-1924) of Bloomfield Connecticut.
Your very substantial Christmas letter reached us on that day – Thanks for same – A happy New Year to you all. This is indeed a charming winter so far – No need to go south for warmth or good traveling. Charles is not at all well, but around nearly all the time – Wish the best of wishes for you all. Mrs. S.
